SEAFUTURE is an event that takes place in Italy every two years and that gathers the best of Naval Engineering Research & Development and of the technologies for Maritime and Underwater Safety. This year the Fair will happen from June 5 to 8 in the usual context of La Spezia Naval Base, but there is an innovation: Regione Liguria has included it in the International Relevance Fairs; SEAFUTURE is the first Mediterranean Fair for New Naval Technologies and Defence inside this group. For sure, this decision enlightens the success of the initiative.
Since 2009, when the first edition took place, the fair has grown exponentially, not only regarding exhibitors quantity, but also for prestige and authority. It has been essential for this SEAFUTURE vocation: encouraging a direct dialogue between the Business World – Companies that produce and supply products, equipment, machinery and high tech systems – and Innovation Centres, Universities, and Research Instituts.
The important presence of Military Representatives shows the International prestige of the Fair. We in Eurocontrol work hard every year on a packed programme of events all over the world, but we know that “playing at home” takes a double advantage: more visibility for foreign Guests and higher possibility of meeting other important Italian business realities, dynamic and resourceful, with whom we could put together new relations and maybe develop new partnerships. These are the reasons why we will be at SEAFUTURE as exhibitors for our fourth time to show our consulting and assistance services and our main product lines: Weapon controls, Power electronics, Control electronics, Servo systems, Electromechanics, Electro optical systems.
