In mechatronic systems, there is a single design process for both mechanical components and electromechanical units, with power and control electronics required to complete the implementation of operating features.

In these cases, Eurocontrol acts as a single source supplier, coordinating the various skills involved and fine tuning interface problems to deliver fully integrated solutions on a turn-key basis. This approach gives Eurocontrol's engineers maximum flexibility in achieving the best possible design, as well as saving time and money by eliminating the problems involved in setting up interfaces between diverse units.
