Eurocontrol designs and manufactures AC and DC motors and generators, servo-motors, high precision linear actuators, motor generator sets and custom designed slip-ring assemblies for applications where stringent requirements dictate tailor made solutions. Our motors and servo-motors can be supplied with incorporated feedback sensors, brakes, torque limiters and hand operated drives. Control electronics normally form part of our scope of work too.

100 kW Brushless Motor with SmCo magnets, tailor made for the customer’s application, designed and manufactured entirely in house to control a radar antenna. Eurocontrol provided across the board assistance for the mechanical integration of the motor with the main system.

10000 N Linear Actuator for a 2-axis stabilised platform. This actuator features a direct drive solution, with a brushless motor coupled to the rolling screw to prevent backlash and deliver better position accuracy performance. The actuator has a brake and an emergency hand drive.

DC Servo-Motors for a helicopter turret drive. This specially designed motor permits gun recovery before landing, even if the servo-motor control electronics are out of service. The entire servo-system fully complies with EMI/EMC standards, as well as meeting vibration and shock requirements.
